House prices: what to expect in 2020
According to Nationwide, property prices are moving down. This could be a good sign for the buyers. But is it gonna stay for long?
Samuel Tombs – chief UK economist at Pantheon Macroeconomics – reckons they could pick up this year. He points to the fact that mortgage rates have been falling in 2019 and says this usually translates into higher prices.
In the past years, these situations were lead to the price rise, which we might experience this year.
